TRAVEL BY TRAIN IN FRANCE
The train service in France is efficient, punctual and comfortable. The train is one of the most popular means of travel that allows people to travel in France, allowing passengers to see the campaign in a more rapid and relaxing way with a bus terminal near every train station. The railway network is highly developed in France (especially Paris) and connects the major cities of the country either TGV or TER (regional express trains). Small towns without train stations are generally linked by bus service to the nearest station. They are operated by the SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer, or SNCF), which supplies most of the intercity routes through its network of express trains known as the TGV or Train à Grande Vitesse. The high-speed network also includes European routes, with the Eurostar which connects Paris to London and the Thalys going on in Brussels and Amsterdam. For convenience, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Lyon Saint-Exupéry airports have train stations at high speed. Do not forget to validate your ticket before boarding the train using the orange ticket punch located near the entrance to the platform and these tickets must be used on the same day. Otherwise, notify the controller (so that you May be able to avoid fine) as a flight attendant to check your ticket to avoid paying the fine later.
