FRENCH CULTURE French culture has its rich history from France and a privileged geographical position at the center of the western tip of Europe. Its diversity reflects the cultures of its regions and the influence of many migration at all times. France has the growth of many universities since the late twelfth century. (see history of French universities). The University of Paris is one of the oldest universities in the West. French culture as it exists today is in large part constituted also by the influence of France in Europe in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, while the French language was in the process of acquiring its former glory as compared to Latin (see History of France in the seventeenth century). France is a home to museums dedicated to a wide variety of topics, including the 'Louvre', and rich libraries, such as the 'Bibliothèque nationale de France'.
France is now appreciated for its way of life.
