News & Media in France Newspapers The main french newspapers are Le Monde, Le Figaro, France Soir, Libération and L'Humanité. You will find the major daily newspapers and magazines, including The Economist, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek on newsstands, airports, railway stations and in some newsagents. The International Herald Tribune is published daily in English in France. Television There are six French television channels, three of which are public: France 2 (F2), France 3 (F3), and ARTE. Canal Plus is a subscription that CBS broadcasts of films while TF1 and M6 are commercial broadcasters. Radio You can listen to the news in English, BBC World Service on 648kHz AM. Voice of America can be heard on FM frequency 90.5, 98.8 and 102.4 Mhz. The newspaper in English is also available every day on Radio France Internationale from 16-17 hours.
